1969 Mercury Cougar XR7
The Cougar was Mercury’s entry in the pony car market and the XR7 convertible was easily one of the best looking. Finished in the correct Medium Blue Metallic over White Corinthian interior, this car makes the perfect cruiser. Under the hood is a 351-2v Windsor mated to an FMX automatic transmission. Other features include: power front disc brakes, power steering, power convertible top w/ glass backlite, rim blow steering wheel, console, and tinted glass. Several other updates were also made, such as adding Magnaflow mufflers to the dual exhaust, new quartz clock tachometer, Monroe shocks in the front & rear, RetroSound Motor 2 stereo with Bluetooth capability, correct Autolite battery cover, Pertronix ignition coil. This car comes with a Deluxe Marti Report and was even featured in an episode of “Murder in the Family”.
